• You should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all school days and on all occasions or functions organised by the school.
  • Pupils who are not properly dressed and whose general appearance does not confirm to such regulations as the school prescribes, may be sent back home by the Principal.
  • It is strictly forbidden to throw anything out of place and at anyone.
  • No shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises.
  • It is necessary that pupils must obey the monitor appointed by the class teacher to maintain discipline during his/her absence from the class.
  • Non-Sikh boys should have their hair trimmed at regular intervals.
  • You have to be punctual and regular in the school and join the morning assembly, as the bell starts ringing, in a disciplined manner. By the time the bell stops, ensure that you are in position at the allotted place.
  • Observe order and decorum befitting the occasion.
  • You must not bring any sharp instrument, mobile phone or any electronic gadgets to the school.
  • You must not lend or borrow money or other articles from your fellow student.
  • The school will not be responsible for loss of books, money and other valuables brought by you to the school. However, every effort will be made to recover the things lost, if reported to the Class Teacher or the Principal immediately.
  • You are expected to be polite, courteous, respectful and well disciplined inside and outside the school.
  • You must take care of your school property. No student should scratch or spoil any school furniture, or write or draw lines on the walls or in any other manner damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident, either by you or by anyone else, should be reported at once to the Class Teacher or to the Principal. Any damage done will have to be made good either individually or collectively.

Note :

  1. Girls from classes VI to XII are relieved 10 minutes earlier than the boys of classes VI to XII.
  2. All students must come to school 10 minutes earlier than the above mentioned school time and in proper school uniform. If any student comes after 08:00 a.m., he/she will not be allowed to enter the school premises.

Note

  • Student must wear clean, tidy and well ironed uniform on all the school days.
  • Uniform should be of proper size and fitting as oversized uniform spoils the smartness of the child and it also becomes inconvenient to run and play about freely.
  • House uniform for summer to be worn every Wednesday and Saturday till the end of October and winter House uniform to be followed in winter beginning from November till the end of session.
  • Students should have clean, combed and trimmed hair.

House System

All the students of classes III to XII are divided into four houses namely Red House, Blue House, Green House & Yellow House. The house System enables the students to have unity and loyalty towards their team members and encourages them to do well for their teams. Competitions are organized housewise on regular basis in the school. Trophy for the best performance by the House is awarded on the Founder’s day of the school i.e. 15th December every year.

Expulsion & Rustication

(1) Bunking, Smoking, chewing gum, pan masala, betel leaf, gambling etc. is strictly prohibited and are sufficient reasons for rustication of the student.

(2) Violence or misconduct in any form in or outside the school can result in the rustication of the concerned student. 

(3) The school reserves the right to suspend, expel and rusticate student whose conduct is unsatisfactory. Immoral behaviour, grave insubordination, contempt of authority or damage to the school property are sufficient reasons for expulsion or rustication.

Attendance Leave, Punctuality & Regularity

(1) It is essential that all students attend school on the day the new academic session commences.

(2) Students must reach the school at least ten minutes before the school timing. (3) 80% attendance every month during the session is essential to make a student eligible to appear in the final examination.

(4) If a student remains absent from school due to illness or emergency even for a day, the parent needs to fill in the ‘Leave and Absence’ record provided in the school diary.

(5) Long absence without leave application renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Leave application duly signed by the parent must be submitted on the same day or the next working day. Leave application on medical ground should be supported by a medical certificate from a registered practitioner.

(6) Appointment with doctors/specialist etc. must not be arranged during school hours. 

(7) For the school examination, in case of short attendance, the Principal reserves the right to condone it on medical grounds.

Withdrawal

  • Parents desirous of withdrawing their child on transfer or any other reason should give a clean calendar month’s notice in writing before withdrawal of their ward from the school, failing which one month’s fee will be charged in lieu thereof.
  • Fee is to be paid for 12 calendar months.
  • No T.C. shall be issued unless all the dues have been cleared.
  • Duplicate T.C. can only be issued after submission of an affidavit on non- judicial stamp paper that the same has been lost and against a payment of rupees two hundred.
