David Model Senior Secondary School organised a marketing event titled “Munch & Crunch with Commerce Lunch” for the students of Class XI on 24 January 2026 at the school premises. The event was planned with the objective of providing practical exposure to commerce students by allowing them to apply theoretical marketing concepts in a real-life business environment. Students actively participated by setting up various food and product counters, managing pricing, promotion, sales, and customer interaction, which helped them understand market dynamics and consumer behaviour effectively. The role of Managing Directors was responsibly handled by students Pranjal Deval and Astha Jain, who efficiently coordinated the activities, ensured smooth functioning of the event, and guided their peers throughout the process. The school Principal Sir played a highly motivating role by encouraging the students, visiting each and every counter, and appreciating their efforts, which greatly boosted students’ confidence and enthusiasm. The event proved beneficial for both the school and students as it enhanced entrepreneurial skills, teamwork, leadership qualities, and decision-making abilities while promoting experiential learning. Overall, the event was a successful initiative that strengthened the practical foundation of commerce education at David Model Senior Secondary School.
