On the occasion of Earth Day, 22 April 2026, David School marked the day with great enthusiasm by organizing various inter-class competitions for the students.
To spread awareness about environmental conservation, the school conducted the following events:
1. Class VI – Poster Making Competition on the theme ‘Save Environment’
2. Class VII – Slogan Writing Competition on ‘Save Water, Save Earth’
3. Class VIII – Painting Competition depicting current environmental concerns
Students participated with zeal and expressed their thoughts beautifully through colors, slogans, and artwork. The competitions provided them a platform to convey their expectations from adults and higher authorities regarding protection of the planet.
The themes of all programs were aligned with Earth Day 2026 – ‘Planet vs. Plastics’. The event successfully sensitized students towards their responsibility for a greener future.
The vibrant artwork and thoughtful slogans reflected students’ commitment to the cause. The celebration ended on a positive note with a pledge to adopt eco-friendly habits.
