On the occasion of Diwali, Inter House Rangoli Competition was held at David Model Senior Secondary School on 29.10.2024. It was a vibrant celebration of creativity and culture. Rangoli, a traditional Indian art form, involves creating intricate designs on the ground using colorful powders, flowers, and other materials.
The primary objectives of the competition were to encourage artistic expression among students, promote cultural heritage and traditions, foster teamwork and collaboration among participants.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation of students from classes VI- IX, with a total of four teams from Red House, Green House, Yellow House and Blue House. Each team brought unique designs that reflected different themes, such as Save Earth, Green Diwali, Aatm Nirbhar Bharat and Say No to Firecrackers.
The entries were evaluated on the basis of

2. Appearance and appeal
3. Details and clarity in Rangoli
4. Creativity
Red House with the theme Aatm Nirbhar Bharat was announced as the winner.
The competition was a delightful experience for participants and spectators alike, highlighting the importance of cultural traditions in our school.
