David Model Senior Secondary School, Main Road, Tukmirpur, celebrated 78th Independence day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was graced by honourable Deputy Director of Education, North-East Delhi Zone 1 as the Chief Guest.

At this auspicious occasion Mr. Hemraj Singh, Chairman of School Management Committee was the Special Guest. The event was hosted by Swasti, a student of Class- IX E. The school choir presented a beautiful all time classic SAARE JAHAN SE ACHCHA..... . Flag Hoisting, National Anthem and March Past was the main attraction of the event. A wonderful speech was delivered by Zeenat Malik a Class XII Science Medical student, which gave a true patriotic spirit to all. At last a mesmerizing patriotic dance performance took place which made emotional and filled the souls with patriotism. The Chief Guest and Special Guest gave their speeches and motivated.
